Workspaces
Isolated spaces — one per client or engagement — that keep work separate.
Overview
A workspace is a self-contained area for one client engagement or project. Its assets, scans, findings and reports stay scoped to it, and members only see the workspaces they are assigned to.
Workspaces are what make SecNxt suitable for agencies, MSSPs and internal teams juggling multiple clients or business units at once.
How it works
Each workspace isolates its data via row-level security, so a member of Workspace A cannot see Workspace B unless they are assigned to both.
You switch the active workspace from the switcher at the top of the sidebar; everything in the console then reflects that workspace.
How to use it
- 1Open Workspaces from the sidebar.
- 2Create a new workspace and give it a name (and optional client name).
- 3Open its Members dialog to assign organisation members and set their workspace role.
- 4Switch to the workspace to start adding assets and running scans.
- 5Archive a workspace when the engagement ends.
When to use it
- An agency keeping each client's findings completely separate.
- An enterprise separating business units or environments.
Tips & best practices
- Name workspaces clearly (e.g. 'Acme Corp — Q3 Pentest') so the switcher stays easy to scan.
- Archive rather than delete finished engagements to preserve history.
FAQ
- Do members see every workspace?
- No. Members only see workspaces they are explicitly assigned to.
